We are looking for a new colleague for one of the most vibrant hotels in Amsterdam, a real all-rounder who likes variety and a challenge. Do you have a heart for the reception and do you like variety? Then this role is really something for you.
A work day as an all-round Front Office employee:
You enter one of the nicest hotels in Amsterdam, we opened in 2018 and everything still looks spick and span. Your colleagues say hello and you walk to our back office. Here we do a handover, look at the arrivals and check-outs of the day and get started.
Today again very nice international guests with whom you can have a chat. You tell them about Amsterdam and what they can do here. There is laughter and the guests see you as a real insider. Some guests come in wanting a drink, so you step behind the bar and pour them a nice drink. It's wonderful to see the variety between different departments and the contact with the guests. Two colleagues come by and you have a chat. The end of your shift is approaching and you ensure that the reports are closed, your cash register is correct and you prepare the handover for your colleagues. The next two days you are off, in the middle of the week while the rest of the Netherlands is at work!

In April 2018 we opened our Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam - City Hall and since then we have been delighted to receive many international guests. We have 89 rooms and a cozy bar that is also part of the reception. As a result, we have a lot of personal contact with our guests.
We are part of Borealis Hotel Group and managed by Interstate Hotels & Resorts. BHG is a fast growing well known hotel developer with hotels operating in Europe under the brands IHG, Hilton, Accor. So plenty of opportunities to grow.
