The Borealis Hotel Group is looking for a Breakfast Host to join the team at ibis budget Amsterdam City South,
Our hotel - which is part of the Accor hotel chain - has 314 rooms, a breakfast restaurant and a cool game room. We are centrally located between Amsterdam Buitenveldert and Amstelveen Stadshart and we are the ideal base to explore Amsterdam and the surrounding area. You can reach us by tram (which stops in front of the hotel!). Furthermore, our hotel is easily accessible by bicycle and you can park your car for free.

Together with your colleagues, you’ll make sure our breakfast service runs smoothly and professionally. Your tasks will include:
- Preparing and presenting a fresh, varied and attractive breakfast buffet
- Creating a welcoming and well-organized restaurant environment
- Replenishing the buffet on time and monitoring food quality and freshness
- Keeping tables, buffet areas and service stations clean and tidy during breakfast
- Cleaning, refilling, and maintaining coffee & juice machines
- Preparing food and supplies for the next day’s service
- Assist in the dishwash area when needed in peak times
- Preparing and placing kitchen orders to ensure proper stock levels
- Cleaning the restaurant and kitchen area after breakfast service
- Assisting with the receiving and organizing of the food deliveries (twice a week)
- Recording product temperatures and completing HACCP administration accurately
